Information about My2024:
My2024 is a groundbreaking 10-day event in October 2014 that will connect LGBTQ communities across the country to think about the future. Think of it as a national conversation and a giant online rally to imagine our lives in the year 2024. Everyone shares their own ideas and visions for their personal future and the future of the movement. Together, our crowdsourced contributions will help build the My2024 Declaration, a call-to-action for the next decade of the LGBTQ movement. The My2024 Declaration will serve as a framework for further dialogue, development, and action by both partner organizations and individuals. My2024 is a collaboration between the Arcus Foundation and the non-profit Institute for the FutureMy2024 is public and open to anyone who identifies as LGBTQ living in the U.S.
The focus of this event is to collectively imagine our futures as LGBTQ individuals, as well as the future of the movement. What will we be fighting for in 10 years? What will we have accomplished?
